Der Notar Sulpicio Gorra, ein reicher Mann aus dem Dorf S. Remi, empfing Herzog Carlo-Emanuele I. in seinem Haus und achtete sehr darauf, dass er auf einer Reise, die dieser Prinz zum Grand-San-Bernardo unternahm, auf dem Berg gut bedient wurde er folgte ihm auch bei seiner Rückkehr nach Turin. In Anbetracht dieser Höflichkeit wurde er am 10. Juli 1590 mit Patentbriefen geadelt. Der zuvor erwähnte Sulpicius ließ sich später in S. Orso d'Aosta nieder, wo er Kommissar des Priorats war, er erhielt Bourgeois und war Bürgermeister. Antonio, sein Sohn, war 1596 Fahnenträger der Gesellschaft von Gignod und Bürgermeister des Dorfes Aosta. Wir haben seit dem 18. Jahrhundert keine Nachrichten von dieser Familie. Das Vorhandensein des Mottos in der dokumentierten Bibliographie der Familie bestätigt den angestammten Adel der Familie. Tatsächlich geht der Ursprung des Mottos auf das 14.
