En el siglo XV ya poseía los nobles feudos de Ragiano y Cinzano; en el XVII compró parte de Cunico y Montiglio, Camagna y Signano. La enemistad de Rosignano con el título de marqués se erigió en primogenitura en 1750. Ottavio-Maria fue embajadora en París y murió en 1749; Ignazio su hermano era obispo de Moriano y canciller de la Orden de las SS. Annunziata; Pio, conde de Cuneo, fue reformador en la Universidad de Turín en 1780. Los Grisella también fueron condes de Montemagno.
