Famiglia distinta dalla precedente che ebbe Girolamo di Piero di Simone priore nel 1488. Simone di Girolamo uno dei capitani delle milizie cittadine nel 1528. Di questa famiglia non si hanno più notizie dal 1617. Varie famiglie omonime si propagarono in diverse regioni d'Italia. Le notizie bibliografiche che ci vengono tramandate sono riconducibili a questa casata di cui ne abbiamo tratto nota. Furono priori Bernardino e Nicolò, l'uno nel 1389, e l'altro nel 1429. Altra famiglia alzò per arma. Di rosso, ad un guanto d'oro. Tali sono i principii, che da sopracitati Autori si diedero a questa famiglia, ma per esser questo fatto assai remoto, e d'historia molto lontana, lasciamo perciò a più eruditi delle sacre antichità, e dell'historie l'investigarne il suo certo principio.
