Die angesehene veronesische Familie gehörte 1409 zu den ersten, die in der Person von Pace in den Stadtrat aufgenommen wurden. Durch die ferne Zeit in verschiedene Linien unterteilt, nahmen sie alle aktiv am Stadtleben teil und wurden in Waffen und Richtern ausgezeichnet. Ein Zweig, der am 30. August 1787 vom Senat von Venetien mit dem Marchional-Titel ausgezeichnet wurde, ein anderer Zweig hatte den gleichen Titel vom Herzog von Savoja und ein dritter Zweig hatte den Titel des Grafen auf dem Lehen von Salizzole. Diese drei Zweige sind ausgestorben. Der folgende blühende Zweig hatte die Bestätigung des Adels mit der österreichischen souveränen Resolution vom 12. Mai 1825. Mit dem königlichen Dekret von motu proprio vom 20. Februar 1908 und RR. LL. PP. Der folgende 2. August wurde zugunsten von Giuseppe erneuert, dem Titel des Grafen, der auf die erstgeborenen Männer übertragbar war. Der Titel befand sich bereits im Besitz der Familie
