Distinguished Veronese family who were among the first to be enrolled in the city council in the person of Pace in 1409. Divided by remote time into various lines, they all took an active part in city life and became distinguished in arms and magistrates. A branch which was decorated with the Marchional title by the Veneto Senate on 30 August 1787, another branch had the same title by the Duke of Savoja and a third branch had the title of count on the fief of Salizzole. These three branches are extinct. The following flourishing branch had the confirmation of the nobility with Austrian Sovereign Resolution 12 May 1825. With Royal Decree of motu proprio 20 February 1908 and RR. LL. PP. 2 August following was renewed in favor of Giuseppe, the title of count transmissible to the first-born males, title already in the possession of the Brenzone family, which
