Famiglia originaria di Piacenza. Servirono per vari secoli nei pubblici uffici i duchi di Parma. Un Sebastiano il 4 giugno 1558 fu creato da Ottavio Farnese deputato sopra i canali e condotti d'acqua della Trebbia; nel 1562 il medesimo ottenne dal duca un privilegio, perchè "non fosse molestato dai vicarii di Parma"; un Alessandro Francesco è ricordato come poeta della fine del sec. XVI, al quale l'Anguissola dedicò l'epigramma: De Francisco - saeculi XVI poeta- adhuc eloquetur patria - gloria aucta. Un Agostino era commissario di Salsomaggiore nel 1627; un Giuseppe Felice, giureconsulto iscritto nell'albo dei dottori e giudici Piacentini il 23 luglio 1691, ottenne il titolo di nobile per sè e suoi discendenti mf. con lettera ducale data il 4 settembre 1682. Un Carlo Giuseppe e la moglie Rizzi Caterina con rogito del notaio Losi Antonio del 15 dicembre 1738 lasciarono le loro sostanze alla congregazione del ven. Conservatorio
