In der Bretagne seit mehreren Jahrhunderten gegründete Adelsfamilie, zu deren Mitgliedern die Herren von Francbois (Pfarrei Saint-Thurial) und Quémillac (Pfarrei Guipry) gehören. Die Bretagne ist seit langem ein mehr oder weniger autonomes Herzogtum, auch wenn ihre Herzöge im 14. und 15. Jahrhundert einen Zweig des französischen Königshauses bilden, das mit der berühmten Herzogin Anne starb. Sie heiratete nacheinander 1491 Karl VIII. Und 1499 Ludwig XII. Aus dieser zweiten Vereinigung ging eine Tochter hervor, Königin Claude, deren Ehe mit François I. die Wiedervereinigung der Bretagne mit Frankreich in Bezug auf ihre Franchise endgültig besiegeln würde . Unter den bekanntesten Persönlichkeiten dieser Familie können wir erwähnen: Guillaume, Berater des Parlaments im Jahr 1599.
