Der alte albanische Ursprung war im achtzehnten Jahrhundert im Königreich Neapel vergangen und besetzte bei der Ausübung der beiden Sizilien hohe militärische Ränge. Demetrius war Kommandeur unter König Ferdinand IV. Von Bourbon des mazedonischen königlichen Regiments. Giulio Lecca Ducagini für seine Ehe mit Maria Guevara Suardo wurde von seinem Bruder Prospero, dem letzten dieses berühmten Hauses, adoptiert und fügte so die Familie Guevara Suardo zu seiner eigenen hinzu. Mit RD 2. August 1914 sagte Giulio wurde von SM der König des übertragbaren Titels des Herzogs ausgezeichnet. Die Familie ist im Goldenen Buch des italienischen Adels und in der offiziellen italienischen Adelsliste mit dem Titel Herzog (mpr.) In der Person von Achille Ducagini Guevara Suardo, n. Chr. Eingeschrieben. in Rom 9. Februar 1900, Sohn des Herzogs dez. Giulio und die edle Maria Guevara Suardo von den Herzögen von Bovino.
