Très illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Adenet, homme de bas état, marié vers 1455 â Olive Landais, sœur du trésorier du Duc, en eut quatre fils, dont la faveur de leur oncle assura la fortune, savoir; Jean, capitaine de Rennes et vice-amiral de Bretagne en 1489, époux de Jeanne de la Touche à la Vache, veuve de Jean de Québriac; Jacques, capitaine de Fougères et grand écuyer de la Reine en 1513; Michel, évêque de Léon en 1477, puis de Dol et enfin de Rennes, où son frère Robert le remplaça en 1502; Robert, dit Callac, successivement évêque de Tréguier, de Rennes et de Nantes, abbé de Saint-Melaine de Rennes et de Saint-Victor de Marseille et cardinal, prélat assistant en 1512 au concile de Latran, mort en à Rome en 1513 et inhumé dans l'église de Saint-Yves des Bretons.
