Antigua e ilustre familia de Calabria, llamada Gullo, Gulli o, más antigua, Gulley, de noble origen escocés, que se extendió a lo largo de los siglos en varias regiones de Italia. En el siglo XV, encontramos una rama de la familia en Rávena, desde donde, posteriormente, pasará a Sicilia.
