Familia de Iglesias cuya información se remonta al siglo XVI. Disfrutaron de una posición considerable en la vida de la ciudad, ocuparon cargos públicos y estaban relacionados con algunas familias nobles. En la segunda mitad del siglo XVI, la familia se dividió en dos ramas: el Dr. Miguel Ángel se mudó a Cagliari, era abogado fiscal y se casó con un Aymerich; su hijo Antíoco fue juez de la Real Audiencia, en 1599 tenía el título de caballero hereditario y nobleza. Sus descendientes fueron admitidos en la estación militar en 1624, durante el Parlamento de Vivas. Esta rama se extinguió en la segunda mitad del siglo XVII. La rama que permaneció en Iglesias permaneció en buenas condiciones y, a principios del siglo XVIII, se mudó a Cagliari, donde en 1736, el doctor Antonio, un abogado de riqueza, obtuvo el título de caballero hereditario y nobleza.
