Ancienne et très noble famille espagnole, connue sous le nom d'Isastia ou Isastia Henriquez, toujours dévouée à la Maison Bourbon des Deux-Siciles, est arrivée dans le Royaume de Naples avec le général Giacinto Henriquez, qui a obtenu le titre de marquis sur le patronyme avec RR. LL. PP., Le 7 février 1739 par le roi de Naples et de Sicile, Charles de Bourbon. Le même titre fut reconnu à son descendant Gennaro (1818-1874), issu de l'Ecole Militaire de Nunziatella, capitaine de la "Réelle Artillerie", le 20 décembre 1855, qui termina sa carrière comme lieutenant-colonel, directeur des mines de Sora . Le cousin du précédent, également Gennaro, était capitaine du "4ème Bataillon de Chasseurs" tandis que son fils Luigi, issu de l'Ecole Militaire de Nunziatella, major du "Bataillon Zappatori", était présent à la bataille du Volturno et en la défense de Gaeta en tant que chef de la 4e tranche des
