Famiglia oriunda da Chambery. Giuseppe era ivi notaio nel 1782. Suo figlio Pietro, avvocato, patrocinò in Chambery poi fu patrimoniale del Re Carlo Felice. Furono suoi figli Giuseppe e Luigi. Giuseppe (n. Chambery, 26 maggio 1802; dec. Torino, 27 novembre 1863), fu professore di leggi a Chambery, quindi sostituto avvocato fiscale generale il 19 aprile 1828, effettivo nel 1834, senatore il 20 agosto 1839, consigliere di Stato il 7 luglio 1849. Fu deputato di Pont de Beauvoisin (1848-50) e senatore del Regno il 2 novembre 1850. Il 5 luglio 1834 fu creato barone tenendo anche conto dell' "antichità e civiltà della famiglia, tenuta per una delle distinte borghesi". Da lui nacque Maria. Luigi (n. Chambery, 1815) fu sostituto avvocato generale militare, e deputato di S. Pierre d'Albigny (1853). Optò per la nazionalità italiana nel 1860. Con Regio Decreto 20 marzo 1864 fu autorizzato ad assumere il titolo baronale rimasto estinto per la morte del suo fratello barone Giuseppe. Motto della famiglia: Ad alta vehit virtutem fides.
