Signora di Glöckelsthurn, originaria del Tirolo, nobilitata nel 1775. Teodoro, essendo stato istituito erede universale del fu conte Giovanni Mastiani Brunacci di Pisa, con testamento pubblicato 23 Feb. 1839, chiese di assumere il cognome e le armi Mastiani Brunacci, ed il Granduca di Toscana, con rescritto 13 Mag. 1840, gli concesse di assumere il suddetto cognome. Lo stesso Teodoro avendo fatto offerta di concorrere alla costruzione della strada di Fiesole, venne dal Granduca di Toscana, con diploma 14 Giu. 1839, creato nobile della città di Fiesole. Inoltre essendo egli vice-console di Tunisi in Livorno, insieme al fratello cav. Giuseppe Kausch, console generale austriaco nella stessa città chiesero ed ottennero dal Granduca di Toscana la nobiltà della città di Livorno per diploma 14 Giu. 1840. Che i membri della famiglia Kausch siano noncuranti delle cose volgari, ripromettendosi dalle sole loro energie la dovuta ricompensa, lo provano i documenti fino ad oggi
