Ancienne et noble famille campanienne originaire de la région de Naples et répartie, au fil du temps, dans diverses villes du Royaume. La famille a participé à l'histoire de Naples et à ses vicissitudes au cours du passé, contribuant pas peu à la noblesse et aux fonctions institutionnelles de la ville elle-même, faites par les rois qui régnaient dans le duché de Naples.
