Discendenza molto antica. Sulla base di riferimenti di storici dell'epoca e di altri trovati dall'Araldis negli archivi anagrafici di città e altri privati, potremmo affermare, ma non assicurare, che questo scudo o altro ad esso molto simile, apparve inizialmente dall'11 al 14 secolo, in particolare nella campagna contro l'Islam che accompagna le schiere di D.
