Nobile famiglia marchigiana e, forse, di Mogliano. Giovanni Battista il 6 marzo 1792 "per i suoi grandi meriti militari" fu creato Conte palatino da Papa Pio VI, con tutti i suoi discendenti maschi. Il 6 giugno 1792 fu aggregato con tutta la famiglia alla nobiltà di Camerino. La Consulta Araldica dichiarò spettare a questa famiglia i titoli di conte Palatino Pontificio (m) e Nobile di Camerino (mf). La famiglia è così stata rappresentata: Enrico, n. 29 maggio 1878 dal conte Guido (1850-1919), di Nicola, di Antonio di Nicola, di Giov. Batta, e contessa Teresa Frisciotti Bernardini (1852-1892). Fratello: Nicola, n. 26 agosto 1881, avvocato, cavaliere della Corona d'Italia; sposato in prime nozze nel 1910 Gina Filippucci; e in seconde nozze il 4 aprile 1914 Clementina Zepponi, dalla quale: a) Latino, n. 18 dicembre 1919.
