Originaria di Parma, un Giovanni, che vivea nel 1300, la trapiantò in Verona, ed i suoi discendenti adottarono il nome della loro patria d'origine. Nel 1650, forse per contratta parentela coi Lavezza, aggiunsero ai propri il cognome e l'arma di questi. Nel 1709 fu ascritta al consiglio nobile di Verona, e divisa in due rami, quello stabilito in Padova fu confermato nobile con sovrana risoluzione 17 settebre 1818, e l'altro rimasto in Verona ottenne la stessa conferma il 12 ottobre dello stesso anno. Un altro ramo è stabilito in Zara. Altro ramo. Giov.-Francesco giudice di collegio, poi vicario della Casa de' mercanti nel 1533. Nel 1409 Nicolò fu il primo di questa casa ad enstrare nel nobile Consiglio, e l'ultimo fu Tiberio nel 1687. Di questa famiglia non si hanno più notizie.
