Originario de Parma, un Giovanni, que vivió en 1300, la trasplantó a Verona, y sus descendientes adoptaron el nombre de su tierra natal. En 1650, tal vez por contrato con la familia Lavezza, agregaron su apellido y arma a la suya. En 1709 fue adscrito al noble consejo de Verona, y dividido en dos ramas, la establecida en Padua se confirmó noble con una resolución soberana del 17 de septiembre de 1818, y la otra permaneció en Verona obtuvo la misma confirmación el 12 de octubre del mismo año. Se establece otra sucursal en Zadar. Otra rama Juez universitario Giov.-Francesco, entonces vicario de la Casa de mercanti en 1533. En 1409, Nicolò fue el primero de esta casa en unirse al noble consejo, y el último fue Tiberio en 1687. No hay más noticias de esta familia. .
