Die festgestellte Genealogie dieser Familie, die seit dem 17. Jahrhundert unter den Adligen von Asola beschrieben wurde, beginnt mit Giuseppe, dem Sohn von Camillo und Paola, der am 12. September 1642 in Asola getauft wurde. Ein Bruder des besagten Giuseppe namens Girolamo mit dem Privileg von Ferdinando Charles Herzog von Mantua vom 15. Januar 1787 wurde zum Bürger und Adligen von Mantua ernannt. In den Jahren 1691 bis 27. April wurde Giovanni, ein weiteres Familienmitglied, von Karl II., Herzog von Mantua, der Titel des Grafen für erstgeborene Männer verliehen. Marco und Girolamo, die Söhne von Giuseppe, wurden von Antonio Farnese, Herzog von Parma, mit dem Privileg des 3. November 1728 mit Nachfolge zugunsten aller Nachkommen erstellt. Das gleiche mit einem anderen Privileg von Philip, Kind von Spanien und Herzog von Parma, vom 22. Juli 1754, wurde Marquis mit Erfolg zugunsten der männlichen Nachkommen geschaffen.
