Of ancient Albanian origin passed in the eighteenth century in the kingdom of Naples, occupying high military ranks in the exercise of the Two Sicilies. Demetrius was commander under King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon of the Macedonian royal regiment. Giulio Lecca Ducagini for his marriage to Maria Guevara Suardo, was adopted by his brother Prospero, the last of this illustrious house, and thus added the Guevara Suardo family to his own. With RD 2 August 1914 said Giulio was decorated by SM the King of the transmissible title of duke. The family is enrolled in the Golden Book of the Italian Nobility and in the Official Italian Noble List with the title of duke (mpr.) In the person of Achille Ducagini Guevara Suardo, n. in Rome February 9, 1900, son of the duke dec. Giulio and the noble Maria Guevara Suardo of the dukes of Bovino.
