Bourgeoisie de St-Georges-d'Aurac, anoblie en 1762, par une charge de conseiller-secrétaire du roi, maison et couronne de France, en la personne de Jean Compte, sgr. de Tallobre, mar. à Antoinette Borel. Leur petit-fils Jean, épousa Louise de Charpin de Génetines. Divers autres officiers. Jean inscrit dans d'Hozier, est dit en 1698, chanoine de l'église collégiale de Langeac. Convoquée en 1789 à l'assemblée de la noblesse de Riom. Éteinte au XIXème siècle dans les du Guiny et les Guibert de Pallissaux.
