Navajas, nascido em Fuenmayor (Logroño) e vizinho de Arecibo (Porto Rico), Marqués de Arecibo foi criado em 12 de julho de 1889. Entre os primeiros colonos de Villa de Güimar, estava Bartolomé de Ledesma. e sua esposa Isabel García, pais do capitão Don Cristóbal de Ledesma.
