Alte und bemerkenswerte emilianische Adelsfamilie in Correggio in der Region Modena seit sehr fernen Zeiten. Monsignore Antonio und der im 18. Jahrhundert lebende Kanoniker Giovanni werden von Tiraboschi, dem ersteren als Arzt der Päpste Clemens XII. Und Benedikt XIV., Dem anderen als Dichter, mit Lob erwähnt. Unter den zahlreichen Werken, die die Blasone Bolognese zum Thema dieser Familie sprachen, zum Werk "Armo gentilizie der Adels- und Stadtfamilien", das zwischen 1791 und 1795 in Bologna gedruckt wurde. Aus Canetoli Band 3 finden wir diese Familie in Emilia seit vielen Jahrhunderten Die Familie Leporotti hob die Arme: D'azzurro auf der grünen Terrasse, mit einem natürlichen Hasen, der gerade die Blätter eines natürlichen Strauchs frisst, und drei bösen goldenen Sternen Aufräumen.
