Questa famiglia stabilitasi nel secolo XIV a Verona, proveniente da Firenze, nel 1421 venne aggregata al Consiglio nobile. Il Senato veneto con decreto 4 novembre 1606 eresse in contado il feudo nobile di Formighedo nel veronese, allora posseduto dal nob. Alessandro e per terminazione 10 febb. 1661 dei Provveditori sopra feudi, Giovanni Galeazzo di Guglielmo vennero iscritti nell'A.L.T. col titolo di marchese ai nob. Antonio, Romualdo e Casimiro Fumanelli ed ai loro discendenti maschi e femmine. La Repubblica Veneta confermava esso il titolo e con terminazione 7 settembre 1761 iscriveva nell'A.L.T. le due uniche figlie di Antonio Fumanelli, Laura vedova di Leonardo e Placidia vedova di Alvise Negrelli e loro figli e discendenti legittimi in perpetuo e tra questi trovansi iscritti il marchese Ignazio di Iginolfo, di Leonardo. Alessandro Francesco da Lioscioa di Ignazio ebbe la conferma della Nobiltà con S.R.A. i marzo 1830 e del titolo comitale con
