Un Federico, al dir del Villabianca, possedette Bivona e Caltabellotta sotto re Pietro I d'Aragona; un Riccardo fu giurato di Caltagirone nel 1425-26; un Pietro, milite figlio di Luigi, maestro razionale del Regno acquistò nel 1463 Vicari e nel 1467 Mussomeli; un Francesco, barone di Mussomeli a 23 giugno 1498 fu nominato capitano d'armi di Girgenti; un Pietro Antonio tenne la carica di capitano di giustizia di Palermo nel 1524-25; un Giovanni tenne la stessa carica nel 1528-29 e un Francesco, barone di Campofranco, cavaliere dell'ordine di San Giacomo della Spada, la tenne negli anni 1581-82, 1590-91. Non siamo in condizione di conoscere se siano appartenuti a questa famiglia nobile quel Francesco del C. che fu giudice della corte pretoriana di Palermo nel 1746-47 e quel Giuseppe e Cocina, che acquistò il titolo
