Ancient and very noble Sicilian family, originally from Liguria, known as Cicero, Lo Cicero or even more anciently Ciccherò, of clear and ancestral virtue, spread over the centuries in various regions of Italy. Tradition has it that it had a cradle in Recco from which it then passed to Genoa. And in the latter in fact a Francesco Cicero was an elder of the Republic in 1350. A Raffaele Cicero, in 1528, took up residence in the Usodimari but already about a century later, some Cicero went to Sicily, whence they started a new family line. The family is in fact present in Sicily since the tenth seventh century. Remember: Giacomo notaro in Palermo, who lived between the 17th and 18th centuries; Arrigo, abbot of S.
