Nel patto di amicizia avvenuto fra Brescia, Bergamo, Cremona e Parma del 1206 figura assieme ai maggiorenti delle quattro città anche Oddo "de Oco". Scarse sono le notizie attorno a questa famiglia che nei secoli XIV e XV, dovette avere in Brescia e nel suo territorio una posizione preminente; infatti quando Pandolfo Malatesta assunse il potere in questa città, concedette privilegi in quel di Mosiga a Lantiero degli Ochi, il quale però malgrado i favori ricevuti, entrò a far parte della congiura del Boccacci assieme ai Maggi, agli Emili, e agli Isei contro quel Signore. Questi si vendicò acerbamente dell'ingratitudine. La famiglia deve allora essersi ritirata in Capriolo dove la si trova presente alla fine del 1434 con Donadino, Lanfranco e Fiorino.
