Antigua y notable familia siciliana, conocida como Locicero o Lo Cicero, que se ha extendido a lo largo de los siglos en diferentes regiones de Italia. La casa ha estado presente en Sicilia desde los siglos VII y VII y, de hecho, recordamos: Giacomo notaro en Palermo que vivió entre los siglos XVII y XVIII; Arrigo, abad de S. Maria de Pedaly, en la decadencia del siglo XVIII; Francisco, doctor en Teología Sagrada, poeta, maestro y devoto director general de la Tercera Orden de San Francisco, que vive en el siglo XIX. Por decir lo menos, la familia sería de la misma agnación del Cicerón de Liguria y levantaría la misma arma, pero, desafortunadamente, la acción malévola del tiempo, destructora del todo, no nos dejó una documentación para probar el descenso.
