Among the names of the nobles of the Brescia area described in one of the Malatesta Codes, existing in the Municipal Archive of Fano, a Ricalbono and a Tosino appear in 1406. The family undoubtedly had an elevated position at that time as we also find that a Balduzio is among the leaders of the valiant city militias who defended the walls of Brescia during the Visconti siege: he is also the progenitor of the branch that died out at the end of the century last. From Pecino, his abbey, Francesco was born, and from this his successors, all enrolled in the General Council of the City according to the genealogical line. Another branch, which broke away with Luigi, also died in the nineteenth century, with Faustino. In the Official Italian Noble List of 1922 a Carlo quondam Faustino is the last recognized. It is still registered in the Golden Book of Italian Nobility and in the Italian Official Noble List of 1933 with the title of Noble (personal), by virtue of the Ministerial Decree of Recognition 7 December 1900: Lucia, di Girolamo, di Pietro, widow Romei . It is also still registered in the Official Italian Noble List 1933 with the title of Noble: Giulia, Giambattista, Giulio.
