Gli studiosi di Araldis segnalano un'importante lapide marmorea con stemma della famiglia Lopreti e Andreasi, posta nella Chiesa di N. S. delle Grazie, a Grazie, nella provincia di Mantova, di cui riportiamo fedelmente il testo latino: "Catharinae amorotae De Andreasiis Ludovici De Pretis uxoris ipsa sicmandante hic ossa conduntur quaeobiit anno MDXXVII ult° Augusti quod autem vetustate collisum Alexander De Pretis eius Fillius ad perpetuam rei memoriam restaurari fecit MDLXXV". Altro ramo. Antica famiglia aquilana ed una delle più potenti nel capitanar le fazioni politiche del secolo XIV. Tolse il nome da un Pretatto vissuto nel secolo XIII. Francesco-Antonio ne è l'uomo più noto. Egli tentò di dar la città di Aquila in mano al Papa Urbano VI allorchè questi era in disgusto con la Regina Giovanna Prima, ma fallitogli il colpo, prese il bando, sostenendosi con le armi dei suoi partigiani.
