Questo lignaggio proviene da un signore di nome Pedro F. de Lorca, del regno di Murcia, che passò alla Castiglia al tempo del re Don Juan II e si stabilì nella città di Madrid. Quando morì, lasciò una casa con un reddito per ospitare alcuni bambini che avevano perso la loro fortuna. Affidò l'amministrazione della casa ai religiosi del monastero di San Jerónimo el Real, vicino al Prado.
