Noble family from Florence, Neapolitan patrician of the Portanova seat. Infeuded by Pietrastornina with the rustic fief of the Two Towers, in Principato Ultra, from 1635, it was decorated with the title of Prince on the said land with R. Privilegio of 17 May 1643, as it had previously been decorated although the title of Marquis of Gricignano with Regio Privilege of May 14. The last header of Pietrastornina with title of Prince and rustic fief of the Two Towers was of March 31, 1730 to Antonio, by succession of his parent Tommaso who had obtained previous registration in the Cedarario on July 20, 1822. Received in the Sovereign Military Order of Malta on May 12, 1630 in the person of Marcello Lottieri of Naples. The bell tower, "News of Nobility" Naples 1672, on p. 101 says that Marcello was a man of great erudition, very versatile in foreign languages
