Sehr alte und sehr edle Familie, genannt Lucchese oder genauer gesagt Lucchese Palli, die aus Adinolfo stammt, dem Sohn einer Schwester von Desiderio, dem berühmten König der Langobarden. Dieser Adinolfo war Prinz der Burg namens Tre Palli, von der die Familie den Nachnamen Palli oder Tre Palli und die Waffen übernahm, und es ist dieselbe Palli-Familie, die in der Stadt Lucca diese berühmte Republik mit dem höchsten Titel des Großen regierte Herzog und daher Lucchese genannt, wie aus einem Privileg von König Karl von Anjou im Jahr 1269 am 26. April hervorgeht, wurde am 23. September 1474 im königlichen Kanzleramt des Königreichs Sizilien registriert. Tatsächlich wird gewünscht, dass ein Andrea Palli als erster die Familie nach Sizilien brachte, wo er in Erinnerung an die Heimat des besagten Andrea Lucchese genannt wurde.
