Ancient house, extremely powerful in the Middle Ages, lord of Valdinoce, Monte Liccio, Bardi and Parpiana. Such cognomination, to say the least of illustrious genealogists, would testify to the clear Lombard matrix of the family. The cognominial form Lusardi, in fact, is characterized by the suffix "? Ard", from the Germanic name "Hardhu" (= forte, valoros) and this allows to consider it belonging to the compound names of the Lombard-Franconian tradition. In any case, the Lusardi family was one of the oldest of the feudal lineage of the Val Taro. Tradition has it that the progenitor of this family is a Plato de Platis, who lived at the beginning of the eleventh century, whose children divided the properties on October 5, 1022.
