Assunse questo colonnellato il nome di Manfredi per il nome di taluno di essi delle più remote generazioni. Notevole fu Carlo Francesco, di Carlo, al quale, per la difesa di Vercelli, il Duca di Savoia conferì il diritto di portare le armi di Savoia con patenti date a Bruxelles il 20 giugno 1558, come ebbe da Filippo II la facoltà (20 giugno 1559) di innestare quelle di Castiglia e di Austria. Fu nominato il 12 febbraio 1602 cavaliere dell'Ordine Supremo della S.D. Annunciata. Da lui, attraverso a tre generazioni, discese Carlo Amedeo (n. Torino 24 marzo 1668) di Enrico, che ebbe il feudo di Angrogna con titolo marchionale. Fu suo figlio Angelo Giuseppe, padre di Stefano Amedeo, padre di Carlo Emanuele che ebbe, fra gli altri Carlo Amedeo e Vittorio. La discendenza di Carlo Amedeo si estinse con il nipote Giorgio (Torino 31 luglio 1863, dec. San Florano (Codogno)
