Família antiga e nobre de Ostra ou Montalbodo, que reconhece como progenitor um judaico, vivendo em 1194. Seus membros mantinham todos os altos cargos cívicos e também se destacavam do lado de fora. Nela morreu a nobre família dos condes Gabuzzi de Ostra, da qual é preciso lembrar que Pietro que lutou bravamente em Famagusta contra os turcos em Famagusta. A República de Veneza deu a ele o posto de coronel e o criou governador de suas colônias levantes. Ele podia se considerar o senhor mais nobre, poderoso e rico da cidade, e tinha a coluna Imunidade em sua casa. Ele morreu em Veneza cheio de glória e tinha um monumento equestre em S. Francesco. Ele tinha como arma "esquartejado de prata e vermelho". A família Fedeli também é nobre e nativa de Ostra e mostrou-se livre dos homens tanto na medicina quanto nas cartas.
