Elles ne diffèrent que par les émaux dans l'Armorial manuscrit de la fin du XVIIIème siècle, où l'on voit que Jean Magnet, sieur de la Guerenne, habitant de Saint-Paul-Laroche, et François Magnet, sieur de La Forest, habitant du village de la Chenerie, sénéchaussée de Périgueux, reconnaissent pour descendants de leur famille, Jean et Antoine frères, habitants de la paroisse de Jumilhac, de la juridiction d'Excideuil, sénéchaussée de Périgueux; et François, sieur du Peyrat; et Aubin Magnet, sieur de La Roche, habitant du dit lieu et des Roches, sénéchaussée de Périgueux. Un Louis Manet, écuyer, sieur de Lautherie, figure aussi dans le Grand Armorial de France, mais avec celles ci-dessus décrites: D'argent à un lion de gueules couronné d'or.
