La famille noble a déménagé à Ravenne de Faenza. Il se distingua bientôt dans la nouvelle résidence. Giovanni, né en 1519, poète distingué et loué. Serafina, religieuse à S. Andrea, vivant en 1570, était aussi une poétesse de mérite. Agostino, d'une âme noble et généreuse, mourut presque centenaire en 1693. Giuseppe, son frère, était trésorier de la Romagne. De nombreux autres membres de cette famille se sont distingués par leurs mérites et ont été agrégés au Magistrat des Sages. Dans cette assemblée, qui était la plus nombreuse de la ville, Giacomo fut nommé pour les mois de septembre et octobre 1617, puis successivement dans les années 1621 et 1643, ce qui démontre l'importance qu'il avait auprès de ses concitoyens. En 1656, Giuseppa Maioli di Francesco a été élu à la place de Sebastiano Zambelletti, pour faire partie du magistrat susmentionné; en 1672, le 25 juin, Agostino fut créé nouveau conseiller
