We know a Ventura, a doctor in 1527, and a Giulio, a jurist, living in 1579, of the family, born in Reggio Emilia. A Lodovico was Giuliano who lived in the 16th century and married the Countess Giulia Parisetti, widow of Count Alessandro Scaruffi. Rolando Rocci made his will on May 31, 1610. He had a brother, Pietro Francesco, from whom 4 daughters were born, Caterina, Lucrezia, Donnina and Pasquina. Living Horace in 1622, he was canon of the basilica of S. Prospero. The cap. Gio. Battista, known in 1635, was a good poet, and is remembered by Guasco (p. 324), among other academics, and by Tiraboschi (Modenese library vol. III p. 119). Count Valerio Malaguzzi collected verses and rhymes of him in his songbook and in the "Sacred Applause". Fulvio, living in 1694, recited a sacred prayer in Reggio.
