The empress Maria Theresa, with diploma 6 April 1770, granted the title of count to Giov. Battista Venturino and his descendants of both sexes. The same diploma mentions the ancient nobility of the family and the concession of the SRI Knighthood awarded to the pro-Bernardino in 1641 by Emperor Ferdinand III. The family asked to be registered on the Italian Official List with the titles of noble (mf.); knight of the SRI (mf.); count (mf.) in the person of Massimiliano, n. Trento 3 November 1857, dec. November 27, 1928, by Sigismondo Bernardino, Massimiliano Carlo and Elsa Viola Marzani; he took a lively part in political and social life in Trentino and was one of the most representative figures of the group of Trentino patriots.
