Der gebürtige Cremona gab seiner Heimat sieben Dekurionen, von denen die erste 1295 von Degoldo und die letzte 1560 von Girolamo gewählt wurde. Nach Angaben der damaligen Forscher und Biographen, darunter: Bagatti-Valsecchi F. - Calvi F. - Casati LN - Muoni D. - Pullè L., die in ihrer Arbeit "Milanese Notable Families. Historisch-genealogische Notizen, 1875 in Mailand von A. Vallardi gedruckt. In Band 4", die in dieser Republik florierte. Wenn die Spekulation in der Geschichte gültig wäre, würde sie auf Meinungen reduziert, die falsch sein könnten, und folglich würde das Hauptobjekt derselben, das bloße und reine Wahrheit wäre, zerstört. Es besteht kein Zweifel, dass irgendjemand sein erstes Prinzip anerkennen muss, aber da dieses so weit entfernt und ursprünglich aus der Lombardei stammte und in diesen Ländern lebte, gab er vielen Schriftstellern die Möglichkeit, es aus lombardischem Blut zu behaupten.
