Antigua y muy noble familia piamontesa de Verzuolo que crió como arma: Spaccato; en el primero de azul, con tres estrellas doradas mal ordenadas; en el 2do de rojo a la banda plateada. Comenzado por GB di Crollalanza y seguido por su hijo Goffredo, el anuario de la nobleza italiana con el diccionario histórico blasonado de familias nobles italianas hace mención de esta ilustre familia, originaria del Piamonte. Este linaje aparece con gran esplendor entre la nobleza piamontesa, cuyos antepasados, que ya habían venido al Piamonte muchos siglos antes, han descendido, con su reputación preparada, de su camino honrado, entre las principales dignidades de la patria. Familia antigua y noble originaria de Verzuolo. Algunos representantes recibieron el título de barón. Era la costumbre de las familias más antiguas, que después de la caída del Imperio Romano, en esa inundación de bárbaros, perdieron y dejaron sus apellidos, así como sus estudios
