Famiglia cremonese di cui si hanno notizie in dal 1037 e che nel 1134 fu ascritta al civico decurionato. Un Ferdinando fu insigne teologo; un Cataldo fu valente fisico e professore di lingue; un Tommaso fu esimio giureconsulto nel 1564 e Capitano di Giustizia di Guglielmo Gonzaga, duca di Mantova. Sul finire del 1600 la famiglia cominciò ad aggiungere al proprio il cognome Roncadelli per ragioni di matrimonio ma furono ufficialmente autorizzati a tale aggiunta con R.D. 7 dicembre 1898. Con Sovrana Risoluzione del 14 febbraio 1722 erano stati riconosciuti nella nobiltà, titolo, che con quello di Patrizio Cremonese e trattamento di Don e Donna vennero riconosciuti con D.M. 2 aprile 1887. La fam. è iscritta nel Libro d'Oro della Nob. Ital. e nell'El. Uff. Nob. Ital. coi titoli di Nobile (mf.), Patrizio Cremonese (m.), trattamento di Don e Donna. Ramo primogenito. Pietro, di Ruggero, di Giuseppe. Fratelli: Claudia
