Antigua y decurional familia de Molise, de clara y ancestral virtud, que se ha extendido a lo largo de los siglos en diversas regiones de Italia. La tradición dice que desciende de la noble familia Mannocchi de Toscana, un exponente de la cual, habiendo tomado posesión de algunas tierras en Molise, habría trasladado allí a su descendencia. Que no te sorprenda el cambio de apellido. De hecho, cabe señalar que la forma original del apellido no siempre se mantuvo intacta a lo largo de los siglos con su ortografía primitiva.
