L'istesso seguitano i viventi Baroni; tuttavia io prosuppongo ch'ella non sia l'Emanuele di Trapani; ma derivata di Renuccio M., cavalier Aragonese Secretario maggiore del Rè Carlo d'Angiò; il quale fù mandato in Sicilia per l'esatione de' donativi, come per porre in ordine gente, armi, e cavalli per mandarli à Napoli nel 1273. Però Fra Simone di Leontini, nella Genologia della casa Leontina (dice) che fù figlio di Coraldo Emanuello Trapanese, che dopo la ruina del Rè Manfredo, s'impiegò a' serviggi del Rè Carlo.
