Por RD motuproprio, de 12 de maio de 1895, seguido por RR.LL.PP. Em agosto de 1907, essa família recebeu o título de nobre (mf.) Na pessoa dos descendentes de Carlos, que morreu em Nápoles em 23 de janeiro de 1878. Muitas famílias colocaram sua casa em Bolonha, porque eram consideradas nos tempos mais remotos famosos entre as Repúblicas, pelo valor de seus Capitães, pela doutrina de seus Jurisconsultos, pelos muitos Reitores de diferentes cidades e pela autoridade de seus Magistrados. As lembranças de algumas famílias adornadas com aventura e que antigamente cooperavam com seu esplendor; e embora o tempo de destruição tenha ocorrido completamente entre as ruínas, os incêndios dos Arquivos em várias conjunturas e a discórdia civil e a invasão dos bárbaros consumiram amplamente as escrituras antes de 1260, embora a família tenha diligentemente preservou vários pergaminhos e tratados pertencentes a esta casa.
