Antica famiglia veneta di cui, nel corso dei secoli, si leggono alcune varianti del cognome quali de Marchi, Za Marchi o Zamarchi; appartenuta dal 1424 al 1450 al nobile consiglio di Conegliano. Successivamente si trasferì in Serravalle ove fu pure ascritta al consiglio; nel 1799 ritornata in Conegliano dove fu nuovamente ascritta al consiglio. Ottenne la conferma della nobiltà con la sovrana risoluzione del 30 lug. 1820.
