Eine sehr alte und adelige sizilianische Familie, ursprünglich aus Spanien, die sich im Laufe der Jahrhunderte in verschiedene Regionen Italiens ausbreitete und in den wichtigen Ämtern der Stadt, in der sie lebte, willkommen geheißen wurde. Ich habe die Familie Marco in einigen Städten Siziliens gefunden, die sehr deutlich vom antiken Adel geprägt ist. In Palermo war Simone Baglijo, über Praetor im Jahr 1308 und 1314 und Pietro im Jahr 1332. In Messina blühte Pietro Marco auf, der für einige Militärdienste einige Geschenke erhielt vom König Lodovico sowie von König Federico II., für den er mit seinem Mut arbeitete, um seine Heimat Messina wieder zur königlichen Treue zu bringen, ist dies in einem Privileg zu sehen, das ihm 1366 vom selben König gewährt wurde. Sein Sohn Matteo beschäftigte sich damit Die Dienste des Königs Martino, und er erhielt seinen Lohn, war sehr gelehrt und eloquent; weil er zum Botschafter der Stadt
