Uma família se originou de S. Giorgio Canavese, que tem Giovan Ruggero como progenitor, ouvinte de câmara principal, receptor de texugos Madama Reale e que entregou a arma em 7 de julho de 1687. Ele proclamou Giampiero e Gianfrancesco, Il primo (n S. Giorgio, 13 de maio de 1665, dezembro de Turim, 18 de novembro de 1694), senador e intendente geral de justiça, foi atraído para Castelrosso (Chivasso) em 3 de junho de 1694 e investido com um título em 14 de julho de 1694. (falecido em 1724) foi conselheiro e primeiro auditor da Câmara. Em 15 de novembro de 1694, ele teve como testamento o mencionado feudo que cedeu (consentimento em 12 de dezembro de 1696) à comunidade de Chivaso, que foi investida em 28 de fevereiro de 1697 com o título comercial.
